Welcome to 3DH and a very exciting year of learning!

In our class, we work hard together, celebrate each other’s successes and help one another to be the best that we can be. Kindness, respect and manners are really important to us and help us to create a calm and supportive learning environment.

This year, we will be time-travelling 750,000 years into the past to learn about prehistory in Britain in our Through the Ages project, then we will be travelling around the world exploring the ring of fire in our Rocks, Relics and Rumbles project and finally we will be donning our “gladius” and grabbing our “scutums” when investigating the Roman Empire in our Emperors and Empires project.

In our Maths lessons, we will enjoy learning new skills and concepts using a combination of concrete resources and pictures. We will enjoy practising a range of drama skills in our writing lessons to help us bring our ideas to life.

In 3DH, we love reading and we’ll visit our wonderful library at lunchtimes and quiz on our reading books. We love learning in a fun and creative way and we can’t wait to share our photos with you on Class Dojo.
