Welcome to 6KN, a class filled with laughter, curiosity and kindness. In our class, we recognise the importance of respect, honesty and teamwork. We understand that though we are all individual, we are able to make differences in all that we do. We work together to create a welcoming and safe environment within our classroom, ensuring no one feels left out and everyone feels respected.

This year, we are working on developing our intrinsic motivation and our love for learning ready for secondary school. We are excited to become positive role models and fulfil our year 6 responsibilities – helping adults and children alike around the school. 

Throughout the year we will be focusing on building our independence to solve problems, both inside and outside of the classroom, preparing ourselves for secondary school. We recognise that we all have a right to education and we should show respect to everyone we meet.

Finally we believe that we should lead the learning in class, make the most of the opportunities that come our way and that it is our responsibility to try our best in everything we do.
