Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back everyone to what will be a busy but enjoyable summer term. I have enjoyed the many conversations I have had with the children regarding their Easter break and chocolate!
Thank you to the many parents who have kindly commented on our new arrangements for PE and wearing PE kit to school. We are really pleased with how well it is working.

Parent Information Box
In the box this week is some useful information on how to build your child’s resilience and improve their emotional health. The information is from the Family Lives website, which has lots of helpful advice. If you require further advice or support, this is available from our school Parent & Family Support Adviser. Please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance.
The information box can be found on the playground wall outside the main Office.
Spring Adventure Trail
Brean Down Beach Clean Party
On Saturday 13th July 2024 there will be a beach party with music and games for the kids but with the goal of everyone collecting as much rubbish from the shores as possible.
We then sort that rubbish, wash it all and deliver it to Behaviour Change Cornwall in Bodmin who then embark on a 3 month process of turning everyone’s finds into something special like coasters, bracelets and beads.
It’s then shown to everyone who attended the event via email so they are able to be a part of the entire process which I’m sure you’ll agree will be quite beneficial and fun for the children as well as the adults.
There will be a talk at the event and we would love to see families together enjoying this beach time outdoors but also contributing to preserving marine life and keeping our shores clean in time for the summer holidays.
All the money from ticket sales just covers the cost of the car park for National Trust, the electric and the cost of the delivery and sorting of the waste. £5 for National trust members and £8 for non-members.
