Dear parents/carers
Thank you!
I want to start my newsletter by thanking all our parents and carers for your kind messages of support these past days. You are very much aware that we have been stretched with many staff and children unwell and your kindness and compassion has been very much appreciated.
I am also incredibly grateful to the North Town Staff and Community for the opportunities they provide at the school. Since I have been at the school, I have witnessed some wonderful events including a music concert, a year six production, sports events, discos, fetes, amazing Christmas shows and much more. Today, our Year 5 and 6 choir children have been to Richard Huish College to use their recording studio and this will now be an annual treat for our Year 5 and 6 children. We would love to take the whole choir but we could not fit them all in the studio. Hearing that other schools have had to cancel Christmas events makes me even more proud and appreciative of the team I have at North Town and the community we have. Thank you – your kindness and support means everything.
Thank you everyone for making the effort to wear a Christmas jumper today, you all looked wonderful.
KS1 Performances
I just want to say an enormous well done to all of our KS1 children for the performances they put on this week! They performed brilliantly with much confidence and enjoyment! Thank you to all the parents and carers for being such a fantastic audience! The recordings of the events will be available soon and will be communicated to you all on how you can access them.
Class Christmas Parties
Christmas parties are taking place on the afternoon of Monday 12th December. With coughs, colds and viruses, we have made the decision not to have party food this year and leave the parties to focus on games and activities. Children will be allowed to bring in party clothes to change into after lunch.
