Kirstie Porter – Nursery Manager
Hi I’m Kirstie! I am the nursery manager, I have a degree in early years childhood studies 0 – 8 years and am level 5 qualified. I have 4 children of my own, 2 girls age 15 and 13 and 2 boys age 7 and 8. I have previously worked in another nursery setting and absolutely love supporting the children to learn and grow. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors, taking our puppy for walks and making memories.
Rebecca Hawley – Deputy Nursery Manager
Hi I’m Rebecca, I am a level 3 practitioner and have worked in early years for 8 years. In this time I have done many courses such as ‘behaviour is communication ‘ ‘ Autism and Social Communication needs in the EY’ and the ‘Terrific two’s course’ These have all extended my Knowledge to be able to better support children.
In 2019 I stopped working and had my eldest daughter Rosie, and then my youngest daughter Martha in 2023. I am really enjoying being back in an early years setting. In my spare time I enjoy gardening and spending time with my husband, daughters and family friends.
Christine Tohall – Nursery Practitioner (SENCO)
I am Christine, a level 3 practitioner with a National Diploma, and a level 2 in Understanding Autism.
I am fluent in French and German as English is not my first language.
Before joining North Town Nursery, I have worked as a nanny, in different settings such as schools and nurseries.
I especially love supporting children with special needs.
I have two children , Carolyn, James and two cats.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and love swimming, walking, going out for a meal, or going to the cinema..
Yasmine – Nursery Practitioner
Hello, My name is Yasmine I am a level 3 early years educator and currently studding towards my degree in early childhood education & care. I enjoy working in early years as i can enhance children’s curiosity as they explore and learn about the world. In my spare time i enjoy going for countryside walks and reading whilst cosied up in blankets i also enjoy travelling and skiing.
Teagan Dare – Nursery Practitioner
Hi, I’m Teagan! I am a practitioner in the nursery and I am level 3 qualified. I love working in early years and supporting all the children. In my spare time I enjoy playing netball, going to the beach and spending time with my family and friends
Amy Halsey – Nursery Practitioner
Hello I’m Amy, I am a level 3 practitioner and I have 2 children of my own. I wanted to work with 2-4 year-olds’ as I think this is a fantastic age range. Their minds are full of wonder and the want to explore.Outside of work, college and family life I enjoy listening to music, creating things especially with crochet and being by the sea.
