Dear parent/carer,

I left North Town at the end of the Year Five/Six Disco last week beaming having experienced a fantastic event! The children had a wonderful time! They danced lots (their taste in music is fantastic!), sang lots and enjoyed the treats on offer! A huge thank you to the PTA, staff, volunteers, the DJs and our children for making it the event it was! We made a fantastic £765.33.

This week I have had some very excited Year One children visit me to show me their amazing writing! I was so impressed with the content and also how beautifully they read it to me!

Have a smashing weekend everyone.

Best wishes,

Mark Braund

Grants

A huge thank you to the parents and carers who have kindly come forward with suggestions of grants we can apply for. We are currently exploring them.

Academic Calendar 2025/26

The academic calendar for 25/26 is attached with this newsletter. It is also on our school website as a reminder of the key dates for the year ahead.

Sports Events

On Monday, we had another friendly for Y5/6 at Castle School. The teams played, organised and competed brilliantly again. It was great to see so many enjoying the games and to see the brilliant effort and determination from all. Well done to everyone that represented the school!

On Thursday, Y3/4 played netball against other schools in some friendly games. We needed to not step in the box and try and shoot into the baskets instead of a hoop. I think I was good at passing and lots of intercepting. The team was Mia, Elsie, Shivaani, Cheryl, Seth, Monty, Elif and Akshana.
