OUR NURSERY

At North Town Nursery we aim to offer children the best care and education possible.  We want our children to feel happy and secure, to enjoy spending time at nursery, make friends, and enjoy exciting, engaging and interesting activities that inspire and give them the confidence to achieve their potential.  Within our team at nursery we have a SENDCO (Special Educational Needs Disabilities Co-Ordinator) an ENCO (Equality Named Co-Ordinator), qualified Thrive Practitioner and have been awarded ‘Communication Friendly Setting Status’.
North Town Nursery offers high quality care and education for children aged between two and four years eleven months.  Situated in the grounds of North Town Primary School, the nursery is located in the centre of Taunton and is easily accessible from Staple grove Road, providing parents and carers with convenient childcare.
North Town Nursery, along with North Town School, is run by North Town Academy, part of the Richard Huish Trust. Our highly skilled staff work very closely together to ensure children have a wealth of opportunities and experiences, and where appropriate a smooth transition from nursery to school.
