Dear Parents and Carers,
We finally have some glorious weather! Let’s hope we have this over the holidays.
This week our Year 6 children performed their ‘Star Warts’ production to their families at Richard Huish College. It was an amazing show with the children performing with so much confidence, enthusiasm and energy. It takes a lot of practice to learn all the lines and songs for such events and it was clear how much all the children and staff put in to make sure it was the success it was. The standing ovation, cheers and applause was incredible and left me lost for words. Congratulation to our super Year 6 children and to the staff for making this possible.
As I type, the Year 6 are preparing for the Leaver’s Evening! It was will me a memorable event and once again, I appreciate the efforts from the team to make sure the children have the best send-off possible.
Wishing you all the best summer break with your families and friends and we will be opening the gates for the new academic year on Thursday 5th September.
