Friday 20th September
Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s incredible to think that we are already nearing the end of September. It has been a really busy and enjoyable start to the school year. I have seen some fabulous work throughout the school and have loved hearing the children talk so enthusiastically about their learning. Absolutely wonderful!
Have a smashing weekend everyone.
Best wishes,
Mr Braund
Wraparound
Just a reminder to try and book your space at wraparound as early as possible because the afternoon sessions are proving popular. We do still have spaces at our breakfast club wraparound with it opening daily at 7:30am.
Mufti Day – Friday 4th October
It’s our first Mufti Day of the year on Friday 4th October. Instead of the usual £1 donation per child for the PTA, we are asking if the children could bring in food donations for the ‘Open Door Charity.’
Sports Events
On Thursday 19th September, we had our first event of the year, which was girls tag rugby. Tag Rugby is a great sport, especially if you don’t like contact rugby. We trained and learnt the rules for about 20 minutes. Loads of other schools were there that we played, like Wiveliscombe and Parkfield. The games were great fun and we got to play three. It was great! Our North Town team was Bobbi, Priya, Carys, Sienna & Lilli.
