Dear parents/carers,
North Town is looking very festive! We have our Christmas Fayre today from 3:30pm – 5:15pm. Just a reminder for parents and carers to collect children at 3:15 and then queue at the entrances below for a 3:30 start:
Just a reminder that there will Christmas crafts made by the children available to buy in Classes 5CK, 3DH, 3CH and 6JF. Father Christmas will be in one of the intervention rooms in the library and there will be delicious hot food and drinks in the hall as well as trade stalls. The KS2 Choir will be performing at approximately 4:15pm on the KS2 playground. Thank you all in advance for your support and kindness. A huge thank you to the North Town PTA for making events like this possible.
Ahead of the Christmas performances next week – we do not allow recordings or photos from any devices at these performances. Richard Huish are kindly recording the dress rehearsals and these will be available on the school website as quickly as possible.
Christmas Jumper Day
Next Friday, 8th December, we are holding Christmas Jumper day at North Town in aid of Save the Children. Your child can come into school wearing school uniform and a Christmas jumper. You do not need to bring any donation because the money collected for today’s mufti will go to this.
Data Collection sheets
Your child will have brought home a data collection sheet. Please can you check these and make any amendments. Please return these to school even if there are no changes.
Christmas Sparkle
Thank you, thank you, thank you! An amazing SEVEN black bags of presents was donated by you! They have all been collected and will go towards making Christmas a special time for the children of Taunton Deane. The photo shows just a small sample of the fabulous gifts! You are AMAZING!
Pippins Christmas Sing Song
Your child should have come home with their ticket letter. Please fill the slip out indicating which time and how many tickets you would like (maximum of 4 per family) For the performance on Tuesday 5th December, the children can wear anything Christmassy (angel, donkey, Wise man, Christmas jumper, tinsel in their hair etc) Please could all costumes come into school in a named carrier bag by Friday 1st December. Please see your child’s class teacher if you wish to discuss anything performance related.

Key Stage 2 Christmas Service at St James Church
The Christmas service will be held at St James Church at 10am on Friday 15th December. Parents are welcome to attend the service, there will be a short Christmas performance from selected children from key stage 2, if you are unsure if your child is involved, please speak with your child’s class teacher. The service will last approximately 1 hour with songs performed from all of the children in Key stage 2.
