6th December 2024

Friday 6th December 2024

Dear parents/carers,

I cannot believe that we are now in December! The school is all set up for a very festive fortnight starting with the Christmas Fayre which starts at 3:30 today. For safeguarding and security reasons, the back gate will be locked at 3:25pm.

Just a reminder that Father Christmas will be in the Intervention Room 1 in the school library, Christmas crafts will be sold in 5EF, 3DH, 3CW and 6JF.

The Christmas Fayre will finish at 5pm (apologies as the previous newsletter said 5:15pm) and the queue to see Father Christmas will close at 4:40pm.

As I walked through the school on Thursday, some sheep, angels, shepherds, wise men, a Mary and a Joseph walked beautifully out of their Year Two classrooms with beaming smiles and much excitement as they made their way to the hall for their dress rehearsal. It was lovely to see!

There are a few children without costumes for next week, please ensure they are in by Monday morning in readiness for filming.

Just a reminder that we do not allow recordings of any of the performances. There will be a collection at the end of every show which will be used to buy new resources for the children to enjoy.

Have a smashing weekend!

Mark Braund
