Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to all the parents and carers who took the time to meet with teachers yesterday and to those attending next Tuesday. It was really wonderful to see so many in attendance. Thank you as well for taking the time to read the ‘Guide to Parents Evening at North Town.’ Everything ran so smoothly.
As I was finishing the newsletter, I was visited by eight very smiley and proud year one children. They excitedly told me about ‘conjunctions’ and read me their amazing sentences!
Have a smashing weekend everyone.
Parent Survey
The North Town Office Team sent a message to parents and carers to take the time to complete a parent/carer survey. We really do appreciate everyone taking the time to complete this. As stated in the message, please do not wait for a survey, the Senior Leadership Team are out on the gate every morning and afternoon so please stop and talk if ever you have any questions.
Sports Events
We’ve taken part in two events this week, Arthur, George, Tom, Arabella, Isla, Issy, Leilani, Lili & Omer took part in Cross Country on Monday and ran brilliantly, along with some football on Tuesday, please see the write up below.
At Queens College there was a football match against North Town, both boys and girls played. We saw our old teacher Mr Venning. For boys North Town won their first game 3-0 with a hatrick from Arthur and won their second game 1-0. The girls team won all except for one game that they drew. Christmas Sparkle
Once again, North Town School is supporting the Christmas Sparkle Charity by collecting donations of new gifts. If you are able, please help by purchasing and donating a gift suitable for a child/young person aged 0-18yrs. We have supported this Charity for several years now, and they are always amazed by the generosity shown by parents at our school. Thank you for your support. Our Christmas Sparkle donation box is in the main Reception area. All gifts should be new, and NOT wrapped. If you would prefer to give a cash donation, please leave your preferred amount at the school office – this will be used by the Charity to purchase further gifts/wrapping paper etc.
