In Year 1, we build on the strong foundations from the Early Years and support children as they begin their exciting journey into Key Stage 1. Our focus is on nurturing curiosity, encouraging independence, and developing confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Through a rich and engaging curriculum, children explore key subjects such as phonics, reading, writing, and maths, alongside creative topics in science, art, and the wider world. Learning is hands-on, playful, and tailored to meet the needs of every child.

We work closely with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition and a successful year for all. In Year 1, every day is a new opportunity to discover, grow, and shine!
