Dear Parents and Carers,
We welcomed the new parents and carers of children starting at North Town Primary School and Nursery on Wednesday. I was really touched by how many existing parents and carers with younger children starting that attended. I was also really pleased with the feedback on how our Year Six children had sold the school to so many parents with how they spoke about North Town during our open mornings back in the autumn term. Well done to our smashing Year Six children – you are an absolute credit to the school.
This week I have seen some smashing science work from children in Year 3, an incredible start to a story from Archie in Year 5, wonderful writing from George in Pippins and some fabulous art work from children in Year 5.

Summer Fayre
Just a reminder that we have our Summer Fayre next Friday (20th) starting straight after school. The back gate will be open for pick up but will then be closed at the normal 3:25pm. I will be on the front gate for the entire summer fayre and look forward to seeing you all. Fingers crossed for glorious weather!
Cricket
A huge well done to the North Town Hardball Cricket Team who were victorious over Queens in a match on Tuesday. I know the children were absolutely thrilled to see Mr Venning at the match and he messaged me that evening to say how proud he was of the children and the progress they had all made.
