Dear parent/carer,
I hope you and your families had an enjoyable half term break and that you are ready for the final few weeks of the academic year.
Thank you for the mounds of chocolate that has been brought in today for summer fayre. Once again, I offered to store it in my office BUT this offer was declined. The summer fayre is only two weeks away (Friday 20th June) and we are keeping our fingers crossed for glorious weather. Thank you to the PTA and volunteers for all the hard work and preparation in ensuring it is a huge success. The children have been sent home with raffle tickets and would appreciate support with selling these.
As you are all aware, we are really passionate about our sport at North Town and there is nothing more I love is to hear about the children and their extra curricular activities. Today I spoke with Harrison in Year 5 about his success with at Taunton Rugby Club. He has just completed his second season with them and at the recent celebration evening was awarded both the players player and the coaches player of the year. A huge congratulations to Harrison on such an achievement! It was lovely to hear about it and how much he enjoys his sport.
I have seen some super work about King Alfred the Great this week from our Year Two children! They were able to tell me so much about him and with so much enthusiasm.
